Course Description

This 30-hour intensive Tai Chi Sword (Taiji Jian) course is designed for beginners and those with basic experience who wish to develop a strong foundation in Tai Chi Sword techniques and Wudang Eighteen Forms. Over four days, students will learn the 13 fundamental sword techniques, footwork, and body coordination, culminating in the complete practice of the Wudang Eighteen Forms. The course integrates traditional Tai Chi principles, internal energy (Qi) cultivation, and practical sword applications to enhance both health and martial arts skills.
Instructor Introduction
Huang Wei was born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine. She has been practicing martial arts since she was a child. She understands the importance of health and Tai Chi swordsmanship for physical and mental balance. In many years of clinical practice, she has integrated Tai Chi sword into the treatment of cancer rehabilitation, neurological diseases and psychological disorders to help patients accelerate recovery and improve sleep, qi and blood regulation and psychological state. Tai Chi Sword, with its characteristics of integrating body and mind, and unifying Qi and Spirit, provides strong support for the adjustment of the balance of yin and yang, and is an effective means for doctors and patients to jointly pursue health.
